Red: Blinked a few times but blushed ((even though he's a dog oops)) shortly after. "Yeah?" He looked away in the general direction of his pack. "Well... she wasn't th' one I was worried 'bout, ta be honest." Turning around, he laid his head on her back gently, releasing a sigh through his nostrils. "I need ta get you two back ta th' Academy."

Nollaig: She picked up her pace as well until she realized they'd have to go through the city to get to the other side of the rainbow. Bridget: Hmphed and looked over her shoulder at what she could see of him from this angle. "But I don't want to leave without you." She grumbled, knowing he was going to insist she go back anyway.

Peppermint: She stopped and rolled on the balls of her feet while looking at Nollaig. "But why, doe? Is der something scary?"

Bridget: She nuzzled him back but let out a long sigh. "Just..." She trailed off for a long time, not sure what she even wanted to say. She shoved her head under his chin and pressed her face against the side of his neck. "Just know that I love you, okay?" She nuzzled him one last time before standing up and moving a bit away. "Should we go look for Mint or just wait for her here? I'll probably go get dressed if we're going to wait for her." She scooped up her clothes in her mouth again.

Red looked at her sadly, attempting to smile anyway. "I can go take a look. You can go change, i-.. I meant clothes, not..." He chuckled a bit, his eyes still looking sad. "I guess it fits either way. Anyway, I'll go take a look." He turned to leave but not before nuzzling her again quickly. She should be alright if she's in the tent, he tried to push the thought out of his mind, but he finished it against his better judgement as he walked away, or, at least, she better be.

Nollaig felt like she should be comforted by Mint wanting to help her, but she couldn't bring herself to enter the town. "I jus'... dunno. I's... just the way it goes, yaknow? Ya e'er been the receivin' end o'.... dislike? Miss?" she added quickly. She wasn't sure if Mint was much older than she was, but she went to school with Red, so she felt like she should show some respect.

Bridget: She watched him go with her ears pinned against her head and waited until she couldn't see him amongst the trees before heading to the tent Teagan had mentioned earlier to change. Giving it a quick once over, she nodded to herself and put her clothes on the floor again before changing back. She quickly pulled on all the important articles of clothing before slowing down as she pulled on her vest, socks, and gloves. It wasn't like she had much else to do now besides wait, and her thoughts turned to shades of grey as she fumbled with the candy buttons on her vest.

Red: Felt bad for pushing them away so quickly since it seemed like they didn't hate it here as much as he felt he did sometimes, but it was about to get dark and... if either of them got hurt, he wouldn't be able to forgive himself. He prowled through the forest, slowly, looking and smelling for any trace of either of them. Eventually, he found footprints and was able to figure out from the scents that it was Nollaig and Peppermint. Sighing, he headed toward the town to follow what traces of them he could find.

Ethne: There was no door to knock on, so she stalled for a moment before calling, "Bridget? If I may call you that. Is that you in there?" She knew that most of her pack didn't mind being caught mid-changing but she also knew that the women were a bit more sensitive to that sort of thing and she also probably wasn't used to people just walking in on her.

Nollaig: Smiled weakly, but still seemed very hesitant to enter. "I dunno," she said softly. "I still don' really wanna g--" she started. She didn't finish her sentence, but she was turned around with her ears perked up, narrowing her eyes and arching her back silently. "Didja 'ear that, Miss Mint?" She looked over at her out of the corner of her eye. "I think someone's followin' us."

Bridget: Perked up her ears. "Yeah, it's me! And of course you can call me that, silly, it's my name after all." She finished putting her clothes back on and stood in the middle of the tent, waiting for Ethne to come in.

Ethne: Entered the tent cautiously. When she saw that Bridget was, in fact, done changing, she loosened up a bit and took a few steps in the tent.

"I'm supposed to escort you back to the Academy. I will ask though, you probably don't have any idea where my daughter is, do you? Or Miss Mint for that matter..."

Bridget: Stared at her in dismay and drooped her ears against the sides of her head.

"You're escorting me back...?" She asked weakly, but dropped the subject and shook her head as she thought about the last time she'd seen either of the girls. "Last I ever saw them was before I went to meet Teagan, I'm afraid..." She chewed on her thumb nail worriedly. "I'm sorry, I'm not much help."
