Ashley & Haar: Spice & Bugs

Ashley: With only the occasional sound of moving fabric, the Christmas assistant floated down the hallway with a perplexed look on her face.

She of course knew about the new Halloween teacher. (And the most recently appointed St. Patrick's teacher. She knew more than she let on - especially if it was gossip.) But she was slightly dismayed she had yet to actually MEET said teacher.

Allowing the sound of flipping paper to join in the sparse sounds she made as she floated, she had 'borrowed' his file to read up on in an attempt to satisfy her curiosity.

'Rotting, crazy, and another floater.' She thought, her mouth twitching in what she wasn't sure was a sarcastic smirk or not. 'Because we didn't have enough deranged corpses walking around... Well, first one not walking, I guess.'

Rolling her eyes, she shoved the file somewhere in her jacket and floated down the stairs, headed for the Halloween floor.

'Might as well try to introduce myself. Or see the damage he did to the door, at any rate.' She snickered, remembering that juicy bit of information from shortly after Mr. Haar Grimm had joined their working team. THAT had been a hoot and a half to learn about.

Haar: He stood in the middle of the Halloween hallway looking at the space where his door would be. He had his hands on his hips and a perplexed look on his face.
He had spent the last few days getting things ready for his haunted house, but after hearing from the administration (Mostly Cain) that he should probably fix the door, but he decided to hang brightly colored ribbons from the top that flowed down to the floor instead. It was festive!♪
It was pretty sorry to look at (He was still proud, of course!) but he was quite worried; the door permitted the escape of all the bugs he had spent the last month and a half at the academy collecting. He had horded them in his room, but they now roamed around the school, about 12,000 in all.

He rubbed a hand down his face and let our a sign. The hands in his cloak had started to play with the door-ribbon, until he heard the sound of shuffling fabric down the hall and turned to meet it.
"Um, heeeellllooo?"

Worried it was Cain (and he thus would get flack for the half-assed excuse for a door) He turned his body to cover it, and straighten out his jacket.

Ashley: Floating a little ways from Haar still, she raised her eyebrow at his obvious attempts to cover up his supposed lack of door (it looked like there was something there now? Ashley was disappointed. She wanted to see the damage.) and started to circle him... well, as much as she could in the hallway.

Inspecting him as she hovered, she slowly lowered herself to the floor where her heels met it with a tiny little click. Her flame hair crackled as she raised a hand to her chin, a grin pulling across her lips.

"Hey." She greeted simply, sounding amused. "And what do you think you're doing?" She tilted her head slightly to try to get a better look at the... streamers? Behind him.

(AH STREAMERS I couldn't find the word, haha~)

Haar: He let out a huge sigh of relief, and let his hands and head droop down for a second before he immediately snapped back with his hands on his hips.
"WHY! It is not quite festive!?"
He rubbed his chin, "WELL, perhaps not Candy-Man, but.... My God, is your hair FIRE?"
He let out a huge laugh and crossed his arms, "DO try not to burn my bugs, please!! They have been running all OVER the place." He gestured with his hands, both in his cloak and his own, "Candy-Man will have quite a fit if they reach his hallway, I presume! AHA, IT will be a very... intriguing show, won't it??"

He turned back to examine the streamers once more. A single insect was making an escape, but ended up detouring into Haar's coat sleeve.
